As part of our Health & PE Curriculum, and our Healthy Together Initiative, we recently had the team of the Melbourne Wholesale Fruit Market present their MarketFresh show to all our classes.

The program is designed to achieve a number of objectives;

• Expose children to new varieties and types of fruit and vegetables
• Increase awareness of the importance of eating fruit and vegetables as part of a healthy well balanced diet

The session involved all students having the chance to try some familiar and not so familiar fruit and vegies, and it was terrific to see them having a go at something new or different.
