From the Principal
Dear Families and Friends
Wow, what an amazing day Lumen Christi had today at the SSV Yinnar and District Athletics day. We came 3rd overall which was a brilliant result!
Judging by the photos, it seems the children (and staff) had a wonderful time.

As our term ends tomorrow (Thursday 1st April) at 12:30pm, we remind you of two important events still to come. At 9am tomorrow morning we will gather in the church for our special Stations of the Cross presentation from the students of Year 5/6 and with the support of students in Prep, Year 1 and 2. We warmly invite you to attend.
At 12pm we will gather again, this time in the Library courtyard for our annual Easter Raffle. We have had an amazing response this year, with many Easter egg prizes up for grabs and we look forward to the raffle with anticipation. Parents are welcome to join us. Please ensure that you sign in as you pass through the gate to adhere to our COVID-safe procedures. On behalf of the students and staff we thank our Parents and Friends group for their support and making this event possible.
With Holy Week upon us and the Easter holidays moments away, we reflect on a fantastic first term full of new learning opportunities and new friendships made. I confidently speak on behalf of the school leadership team when I say that we are proud of the efforts and dedication shown by the staff over the term. We are now lucky to enjoy a two-week holiday break beginning with the Easter weekend which is a reminder in our faith about renewal and love for each other which leads us to happier lives.
Term 2 begins on Monday 19th April and we look forward to greeting our students for another term of rich learning experiences. We will also welcome back a extra refreshed Mr Cooper after his short leave. Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday break and Easter blessings to you all.
Kind regards,
Mr Camillo Redi
