Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is always a special day at Lumen Christi, and this year once again our senior students led our service beautifully. Embracing the need to use video conferencing actually added something different to this year's event, while the commemorative part of the ceremony held outside in our Centenary of ANZAC Garden was very moving.
Many hands do make light work and our day was supported by many people who contributed in lots of important ways, from classroom staff and students through to Tania who has nurtured the Gallipoli Roses for months ensuring that they were in full bloom today.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
