BIG WATER WALK THANKYOU!

At the end of last term our students participated in a 'Big Water Walk' where they walked laps of the oval to raise money for project compassion and Caritas. It really was a great event, our students really took on board the reason for their walking and shared their buckets with partners to carry them around the oval for nearly 40 minutes with a great positive and resilient attitude and happy vibe the whole way. Some students managed over 14 laps which is nearly 4km!!

After counting up all the money in our Caritas Bucket on Thursday afternoon, the staff and students of Lumen Christi were able to raise $500!!!!!! That is a huge effort and we want to especially thank all our families who bought back their Project Compassion boxes and donated coins on Thursday - thankyou!! If you still have you box at home or forgot some coins on Thursday at the end of last term, please bring them by the end of the week and we can add them to the bucket!
