Dear Families,

I hope everyone survived the windy weather over the past few days. I would like to thank everyone for keeping their children home where possible yesterday, it gave us a chance to assess any damage done to the school property and clear away any trees and branches that had come down to ensure that the playground is safe. We do have a tree safety audit every year and have removed all dangerous trees for situations such as these.

Thanks to all of our dads, grandfathers, friends and any other special carers that came to school last week for our Father’s Day breakfast and mass. We love having our families here at school and it was fantastic to see this event so well supported on the day.

Our concert is coming up next Wednesday night. Please remember to buy your tickets and sign the permission forms on PAM for the whole school concert rehearsal. This is a whole school activity and we would like all children to be involved on the night, so we do ask that all families make this a priority.

A reminder that we have footy colours day coming up on Thursday the 19^th September and our P&F team are running a lunch on this day. Also, please remember that Friday 20th September is a pupil free day. There is no school for students on this day. This will be the start of the holidays and school will return on Monday October 7^th.
