From Mrs Darby
Dear Families,
We have an exciting few weeks ahead here at school, looking at the calendar, it’s hard to believe that we’re into the second half of the term already!
We are holding our Last Supper night for all year four children this week. The evening will be a recreation of The Last Supper followed by Pizza for dinner. Our aim is to teach this part of our Catholic story and Tradition in a fun way for all children and making First Eucharist a celebration for the whole of the level not just the few who are making the sacrament. In this way, we hope all Year 4 families will support us.
This is also the last week that our Foundation students are part time, next week after the long weekend, all foundation children will be at school full time, which is exciting. Our foundation children have settled in so well and are ready for full time school.
Sports Day will be this Thursday and is always an important event here at school.
Families are welcome to come along and support all of our children in the sports. We are still on the look out for parents to help run the events, please let myself, Ms Ensor or Janelle in the office know if you can help on the day. We’re looking forward to a wonderful and positive day.
Remember that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday 11 th March as it is a public holiday.
Have a wonderful week ahead,
Sally
