Dear Families,

Another busy week at Lumen Christi.

We started the week with visits from the Fire Safety team, which is important for the children with summer coming up and knowing what to do in the event of a fire. In a couple of weeks, we will have the Fire Truck visit the school which is always an exciting session for the children.

We have children preparing for their First Eucharist and are currently attending their commitment masses on the weekends. I thank parents and family members for attending with their children and making time for this in their busy lives.

We have our grade 5/6 children attending camp next week in Melbourne. It will be a really exciting three days away which we hope they will enjoy.

Finally, with bushfires, floods, earthquakes in our Gippsland community last week and now a war in Israel, as a Catholic School Community, I ask everyone to keep people affected by these events in their prayers.
